Best corn beef sandwich in Ohio. I've been all over searching for somewhere that has awesome corn beef and I have to drive 40 mins to Cleveland to get it
The superior restaurant is a must go to establishment. Their corn beef sandwich is piled high with the least a pound and a half a corn beef. It's consistently one of the best in my opinion. Since Covid, they've become carryout only which is really a shame because it was always a great place to sit down and do enjoy a leisurely breakfast or a long lunch. There's a certain way that you need to order your sandwich. If you want corn beef with mustard and horseradish. You need to say I'm want a CB with mustard and horse. Kinda like the soup Nazi, but only nicer. The service is fantastic and judging by the line out the door for lunch, they're doing something right. When in Cleveland and you want a good corn beef sandwich, the superior restaurant is the top of my list.
Superior Deli has always been wonderful. Food is awesome & plentiful. Atmosphere great for all ages,face paced workers. Like a cousin to Sylmans,just delicious at Superior Deli. Try it.
I would never have stopped here to eat on my own...because it looks like a drive by, seedy kind of place. Glad I trusted my friends and went in! There was a line of folks ordering to-go meals and several folks sitting at the window booths and small dining tables. Jamie greeted us with waters and menus and promptly took our orders. The meals were prepared faster than I could have expected and exactly as we ordered. Here's the funny part... the sound system is an outdated radio with two tiny speakers mounted on a shelf in the middle of the room and the cashier was eating her lunch, had food on her lip, all while checking out a customer and talking on her cell with no bluetooth or earbuds! We were dyin with laughter!!
Another fine breakfast instItution in Cleveland ! I actually grew up in this neighborhood and this is one of 5 breakfast places in this neighborhood. Which one is best ? You decide , this one is actually my favorite for breakfast. The corned beef here is off the chain and all sandwiches. The inside is spacious, gets super crowded during lunch hour , and closes at 2:30 pm . Very clean inside and the staff is friendly and attentive. About their business here . They have nice dinner specials like meatloaf ,liver and onions just to name a couple. So check em out right on East 30 th and Superior.
I ordered Superior Restaurant for our office St. Patrick's Day luncheon and everyone was thrilled with their sandwich selection. The attention to detail and quality for the price cannot be beat. Always great whether you order in, or sit at the counter with Jamie. I have been going here for over 30-years and wouldn't go anywhere else for a Cleveland Corned Beef.
This place is a great cheap spot to grab some breakfast or lunch. Right off the freeway and there is free parking. It's got a real mom and pop feel to it. LGBTQ FRIENDLY
